Developed algorithms to rectilinearize images of distorted diffraction patterns and to identify source location. Data analysis and modeling for intracranial pressure estimation.

• I have worked as the lead architect and owner of PoR (Plan of Record) for AT&T's wireless network monitoring solutions. In particular I've designed monitoring solutions for the following zones/network elements during AT&T's expansion of its LTE network: Calico/Neo/Neo Enterprise S/PGW gateways, MME, HSS/DRA, Small Cells (Femto, Metrocell), and PCRF. • Currently working on designing monitoring solution for 5g/edge clouds.• Architect for virtualized monitoring solutions for VNFs deployed to AIC (AT&T Integrated Cloud) instances as part of AT&T's SDN initiatives (Domain 2.0). Designed packet mirroring scheme using Juniper Contrail vRouter and Openstack HEAT templates.• Monitoring system design entails a lot of interaction with vendors. So naturally I had to formulate what was needed for AT&T, write requirements, communicate them to vendors, evaluate products/responses, and obtain their commitment to develop.• I have also led various data analyses projects to study network performance. The study topics include end-to-end network reliability, design of HSS/DRA traffic profile, and analysis of Tektronix' performance and system health parameters. The tools used include R, SAS, Python, Perl, and Java programming languages.• There were cases where tools needed to be developed to facilitate use of the monitoring equipment. For instance, AT&T decided that the Gi/SGi side traffic be monitored on-demand as the packet payload on that side is nearly identical to that of the Gn (GTP) side. I have designed and led the implementation for a web-based tool that allows end users to configure Ixia|Anue network switches remotely. The tool manages the lifecycle of layer2/3/4 traffic filters that forward only the needed traffic to the probes.

• Developed numerical computation modules to model various aspects of networks. The modules were used to predict insertion loss, estimate loop length, compute probability of failures, perform survival analysis, etc. Developed web applications using Java/JSP, PHP, and concurrent data loading modules in Java and Perl.• Designed data analysis projects from ground up - responsibilities included defining the required data elements, negotiating with external companies to acquire the data, defining exchange procedures, analysis, and authoring reports.• Performed lab tests of various DSLAMs (Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexers), ASAMs (ATM Subscriber Access Multiplexers), loop simulators, traffic generators, and various xDSL modems. Wrote scripts in Python/Expect/Perl to automate access, tests, and the extraction of performance data from equipment.
