But even during these ups and downs what sometimes stands out is a clarity of vision and conviction in the mission.The accomplishments in my career are not rare , meritorious nuggets but rather the faith in certain concepts growing stronger after phases of trying and testing situations, confirming my belief that confidence indeed is the valour of the intellect!I was fortunate and consider myself lucky to have grown in an environment which made the importance of a career and not a job quite clear in my life. Taking cue from other lives invested, not invested or wrongly invested, I realized that a career is deeply linked to our innate passions and interests. Technology interests me so does the creative aspect of art. Engineering therefore emerges as a natural choice as it uniquely combines science with innovation and creativity.Excelling in my professional life has always been a major objective for me. I wish to gain in depth knowledge about technology present and future and also use the knowledge in tandem with a creative dent to create a unique niche in the business world. I work for MECON LIMITED, India, a premier Engineering and Consultancy unit which provides solutions from concept to commissioning in Steel, Oil and Gas and Power sectors. A Public Sector Undertaking, it functions on semi autonomous policies that are framed on objectives aiming at a good work life balance . In the coming days I see myself heading an animation unit of my own which would help stories of people and places and everyday life reach out to isolated pockets of the societies of the world. I believe there is more strength in simplistic knowledge coming together than specialized information reaching out only to a limited sector of people.
