An experienced engineer with a burning desire to learn and apply that knowledge. Possessing both an Associate's degree in Industrial Controls & Robotics and a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering which I obtained as I worked full-time in automated manufacturing maintenance while simultaneously raising young children with the help of my wife.I have nearly a decade of experience in industrial automation and have previous experience troubleshooting and repairing automated machinery in a fast paced maintenance department. Becoming a top performer and the go-to guy for higher level more difficult diagnosis.Having a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, along with an unmatched work ethic, perfectly postions me to focus on machine safety and equipment maintainability. I have a proven history of designing, programming, fabricating, assembling, debugging, troubleshooting, documenting, and commissioning many fully automated and semi-automated manufacturing cells. Throughout my career, I have been involved in all levels of the process on projects with a capital value ranging from a few hundred thousand dollars to upwards of 15 million dollars. My can-do attitude and ability to rapidly learn makes me an unstoppable force when completing a project. I approach every opportunity with a positive mindset and possess a strong sense of self-awareness, which I use to the best of my ability. Never once have I said, "That's not part of my job description". I work towards completing a common goal, doing whatever it takes to accomplish that. I take pride in doing things right the first time and don't like leaving things unfinished. For me, any job, big or small, should be done right, or not at all. These skills and values make me an invaluable asset to any team. One more thing I would like to add is above all, I am a problem solver. When faced with an issue that has no easy solution I will persevere until the issue is resolved. This is the main trait that has gotten me to where I am today and is one thing I bring with me wherever I go. The scope of the problem is never the concern, only finding a solution.I am looking for an employer to value me as much as I value them. Seeing me as an individual that enjoys work life balance and providing the environment for that to thrive is what will garner the most productivity from me.
