• Assist in returning unclaimed property from the Pennsylvania Treasury to clients by preparing claim forms for signature• Assist in administering estates of deceased persons by preparing simple PennsylvaniaInheritance Tax Returns and Inventories for clients’ approval and signature, and filing the returns with the State• Assist in obtaining guardianships for incapacitated persons, applying for Medicaid, and procuring nursing home and funeral home debts• Assist in the preparation of wills, acknowledgments, codicils, power of attorneys (for assets and health care), escrow and personal property memorandums• Assist in real estate closings by building closing document binders and creating spreadsheets detailing property addresses, entity names and purchases prices

• Draft motions in limine• Draft and send letters to prospective plaintiffs in Hepatitis C class action litigation• Assist in deposing prison staff members• Draft simple complaints for federal civil actions under 28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)• Research legal issues including (1) the cross-gender video surveillance of strip searches; (2) the statutorily-mandated two hours of outdoor physical exercise; and (3) the confiscation of legal self-help materials sent from an attorney working at a public interest organization.

• Administer the Estate Planning Initiative: Work with each attorney in the Estate Planning Department to contact his or her previous clients and solicit new business for the firm • Locate the owner of old estate planning documents using WestLawNext and SSDI• Scan and save entire Will Safe (all estate planning documents) in firm’s directory • Assist in administrative duties required when an attorney enters or leaves the firm
