Balmond Studio is a research-led practice of architects, designers, artists, and theoreticians, led by Cecil Balmond, the world’s leading thinker on form and structure. The studio is based in London, U.K., and Colombo, Sri Lanka. I am part of Clan B, the studio's dedicated marketing team. We specialize in delivering advertising, branding and marketing in all its forms - from digital and print to experiential.Role and Responsibilities: • Involved in designing and maintaining company internal infrastructure including the brand visual identity and creative assets for the company brand collateral.• Designed and maintained brand identities implementing successful marketing campaigns for both local and international brands reporting directly to the director of the company.• Collaborated with Interior designers, Architects, Fashion designers and other design professionals on a variety of design projects.• Created presentations including Storyboards, mood-boards and concept artworks for pitch meetings.• Identified potential clients and coordinated with them to bring in new projects, which resulted in new business opportunities for the company.Tools: Pen and paper, Adobe creative cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Figma, Procreate

NIBM functioning as an internationally accepted, UGC recognized degree awarding institute under the Ministry of Education is an educational institution in the government sector. My roles and responsibilities under the School of Computing are as follows,• Entrusted with delivering both theoretical and practical knowledge on subjects including Design theory, Fundamentals of design, Drawing, Animation studies, and UI design.• Established an institutional partnership program and coordinated MOU with Balmond Studio, increasing more educational and internship opportunities for students in the institute.• Trained students in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Figma, delivering key software skills.• Engaged in lecturing, drafting and evaluating student examinations, viva sessions, achieving an overall satisfaction index of 89.5% and above.
