I am a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician, registered with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) and equipped with a Biomedical Science degree. Committed to continual growth and development, I aspire to advance my career by enhancing my skills and accumulating valuable experiences. My goal is to utilize the knowledge, expertise, and competencies acquired throughout my professional journey to contribute effectively to any organization.My educational foundation was established at Sri Dharmaloka College, where I completed my primary education in 2010. Embarking on my career journey, I commenced as a trainee Medical Laboratory Technician at The Central Hospital (now known as Asiri Central Hospital), a prominent institution within the Asiri Group of Hospitals. Through diligent work and dedication, I progressed to the role of Junior Medical Laboratory Technician.Continuing my pursuit of excellence, I obtained a Diploma in Laboratory Technology in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon. Subsequently, I earned certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist from the Ceylon Medical College Council, along with registration as a member of the profession supplementary to medicine at the Sri Lanka Medical Council.In 2015, I joined Browns Hospitals (now Melsta Hospitals Ragama) as a Medical Laboratory Technologist-Grade 2, where I broadened my expertise. Seeking exposure to the public sector, I also served at the National Transport Medical Institute as a Medical Laboratory Technologist, responsible for providing medical certificates for driving license purposes. Concurrently, I pursued further education, completing a Graduate Diploma in Management at Business Management School and obtaining a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science from Oxford Brookes University, UK, through BCAS Campus.Currently, I am engaged as a Medical Laboratory Technician at Durdans Hospital, specializing in the Microbiology Department. Here, I am dedicated to expanding my knowledge and proficiency in microbiology and serology laboratory testing, contributing to the healthcare excellence upheld by the institution.
