SHIKSHA Initiative is an accelerated technology-enabled literacy and enhanced learning program. It works through continuous intervention in primary education with a digital high-quality engaging content based on State Board syllabus and a technology-based mode of dissemination, to instill learning retention among children. It attempts to overcome the existing educational challenges by introducing interactive content and periodic assessments, making the process of learning more interesting, fun and effective. Furthermore, it enhances the classroom environment and equips the teachers with an innovative high-engagement teaching mechanism to boost learning effectiveness.

• Research based reporting on Human Rights, laws related to human trafficking, role of various stakeholders, state-wise analysis of the statistics related to human trafficking and crime against women and children. • Active role in co-ordination, management and documentation of the project.• Worked in close co-ordination with the District Administration and Law Enforcement Agencies.• Conducted trainings and workshops with the Department of Women and Child Development on human rights, child rights, and various laws relating to women and children. • Conducted Police trainings with the Special Juvenile Police Unit on Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. • Headed the CHILDLINE Project of the organization based in Gurgaon, Haryana. • Advocacy with the stakeholders (NGOs, CWCs, Police, SJPU) and law enforcement agencies for smoother rescue, rehabilitation and reintegration process of the victims.• Documentation of case studies based on the raid and rescue operations conducted.• Worked in collaboration with the Child Protection Group to ensure proper implementation of JJ Act.• Worked as a part of the review team for Review and Mapping of Child Care Institutes, a project sanctioned by the Ministry of Women and Child Development to National Commission for Protection of Child Rights and Childline India foundation. Conducted a review of 40 CCIs based in Delhi and Haryana. • Actively involved in co-ordination and management of Joint Targeted Intervention Program of the organization based in G.B Road, Delhi’s red light area.
