With over a decade of experience in the philanthropic sector, I am currently the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Community Engagement at the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, where I work to ensure that DEI values and considerations are embedded in all aspects of the Foundation's operations. I am a seasoned leader with an equity and justice-centered approach to grantmaking, program strategy, and movement building. I am a passionate advocate for equitable philanthropic practice, and am inspired by the potential of our field. I currently serve as the Vice Chair of The Funders Network Board of Directors, and also teach multiple courses at The Johnson Center for Philanthropy at Grand Valley State University for both emerging and tenured philanthropic professionals.
