-Tested and optimized a HERIC (Highly Efficient and Reliable Inverter Concept) board with a 400V input and 230V, 50Hz output, achieving ~99% efficiency at a 4.5KW load to demonstrate the capabilities of Infineon CoolSiC 750V MOSFETs.-Modeled SiC MOSFET losses using PLECS thermal simulation models; optimized MOSFET part selection, resulting in a 50% reduction in total MOSFET losses.-Designed a heat sink for efficient passive cooling with Rth = 0.85°C/W.-Optimized gate resistor values to achieve faster switching.

-Optimized maintenance schedules of 12 pulse AC-DC converters (Siemens 6RA70, 6RA80 Drives) of 750KW, 1.2MW of cold rolling mill DC motors, and Auxiliary AC-AC converters (ABB ACS 800, ACS 880, Siemens S120, G120 electric drives) which reduced downtime by 12%.-Implemented PLC logics (Siemens S7-400, S7-300) and HMI to reduce coil handling time-Ensured 100% availability of 11KV switchboard, VCBs, Capacitor bank, and Converter transformers (11kV/780-780V).-Managed a team of Electricians and supervisors by job planning and execution of Breakdown, shutdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance schedules.-Facilitated quality circles to implement small improvement projects, and Kaizens and competed in annual competitions organized by Quality Circle Forum of India.-Digitalized critical quality parameters collection process by integrating IBA PDA to the line Automation system.-As a trained member of the Plant Emergency Response team, ensured the functioning of Emergency response plans by periodically conducting mock drills and awareness sessions.
