Focused on enabling business solutions hosted in the hybrid, public and private cloud (AWS) via collaboration with solution owners and technical enablement teams.My last two years in this role was in our Digital Channel space focused on delivering a replacement banking solution for our mobile and web channels. I was accountable for the design and delivery of the cloud platform hosting the solution and shaping the newly formed DevOps team to deliver this platform with a CI/CD capability for frequent application deployments.I spent the first year as a member of the cloud center of excellence virtual team. Our journey to the cloud had just started and my responsibilities included delivery of a portal to enable organisation wide stakeholders to find information relevant to deploying workloads on the public cloud, designing solutions to host services in AWS and reviewing and scoring RFP responses for a Cloud Journey Partner.

Responsibilities included the line and demand management of infrastructure technology and solution architects delivering group wide business and technology solutions, governance oversight, solution design, deployment guidance, streamlining existing processes to enable faster delivery times with our joint stakeholders and transitioning to a model to support agile work processes across the organisation.

Designing infrastructure solutions in the Unix and Windows space through collaboration with application architects and infrastructure delivery teams.

Administering a large Solaris Unix estate and a smaller representation of Linux. Responsibilities include; build and support of bare metal, virtual and clustered environments leveraging automation (including scripting).
