Project: Pedestrian Gender and Face detection using Computer Vision• Developed robust model for pedestrian face, gender, and speed detection to aid post-accident person identification in Indian Urban traffic• Collected and assembled a dataset (1500 mins videos and 10,000 images with 4:6 gender(F/M) ratio) of Indian pedestrians in Urban areas• Diligently prepared the data and crafted the model using Python, OpenCV, ML, and python libraries like NumPy, pandas, and matplotlib• Achieved impressive accuracy of 83.35% for gender classification and 84% for face detection for Indian pedestrians walking, crossing roads

Project : Automation of data preprocessing techniquesCreated versatile data preprocessing model compatible with diverse accident data, streamlining preparation for various data applications- Expertly manages features (latitude, longitude, address, pin) using geocoding, achieving decent 87% accuracy in data cleaning and imputation- Designed apis and a usercentric web interface for data visualization and processing customization, enhancing user engagement- Preprocessed the extensive accidental datasets of 20 Indian states each sized (2,00,000x50) by this advanced model and produced the interactive maps highlighting accident sites, hotspots and hospital locations of Indian states, mapped nearby hospital to an accident sites

-- Responsible for managing the Tech Lab project under NSS, IITM, which aims at taking IITM’s resources to schools in remote locations for the empowerment of students through wholesome education. -- Filling the gap between theoretical and practical learning in students by providing local students exposure to STEM. -- Leading a team of 50 student volunteers from IITM to embark curiosity in the minds of students and to wake up the engineers inside them.
