ZanKSA-Reload Technology Transformation project – Single Rating:The scope of work for is to provide Testing services for the Reload Technology Transformation project – Single Rating. Rating functionalities of Postpaid will be migrated to Ericsson Charging System from legacy TABS. A detailed explanation of the scope of work. Objective of this project is to achieve the convergence of prepaid and post-paid on one platform by migrating the functions of Rating, Mediation, Provisioning from legacy TABS to Ericsson’s CBIO platform. There are two phases for the Reload Technology Transformation project. In phase 1, “Single Rating” the rating functionalities for Postpaid will be migrated to CS from Legacy and in phase two, all CRM, Order Management and billing functionalities will be migrated to Siebel, ECM, EOC and BSCS respectively from legacy systems.Single Rating: During single rating phase, CS would be managing postpaid charging by moving from offline to online. While charging moved to CS, TABS billing platform will continue to handle postpaid billing. EMM will send the mediated CDR’s to TABS billing platform for billing functionalities. Below sections depicts detailed component and functional scope during this phaseComponent Scope: CS, EMM, EMA,TIBCO ESBBSCS, ECM, EOC, CRM: During this phase, while CS continue to handle charging for both prepaid and Postpaid customers, BSCS, Ericsson Order Care, Ericsson Catalog Manager and Siebel to replace TABSComponent Scope: Oracle Siebel CRM,ECM,TIBCO ESB,EOC, Charging & Billing in One (CS, BSCS, EMM, EMA),StreamServeTEST OFFERINGS:i. Ericsson is in the process of aiding Zain Kuwait in its transformation of BSS IT Systems enrichment. This transformation is aimed at configuring a more streamlined IT application.Charging and Billing in One (CBiO): CBiO will be the convergent billing platform that will be implemented to support both Prepaid and postpaid rate plans and services. CS, EMM and EMA are integrated to TABS (legacy) and already live for prepaid services as well as postpaid data for both consumer and Enterprise business segments. During Phase II, all the three components will be integrated with other Ericsson components along with BSCS to support complete prepaid and postpaid.Testing scope in respect to this transformation includes: CITSITUAT BCTModule handled in Charging & Billing in One:> BSCS RA online module: Creation of MSISDN, Creation of PPC files for SIM/IMSI, Distribute, assign, status updates, retention rules, classification rules, sim types etc.> Billing & Invoicing: On-demand billing, simulation billing, Immediate Billing, Invoice and statement generation, Validation of customer, contract, rate plan details for all the provisioning flows of Prepaid and Postpaid products when submitted from Siebel CRM , Activation, Change rate plan, Subscriptions (Add, update, remove), Free units (Add, update, remove), VAS service (Add, update, remove), suspension, resumption, deactivation, reactivation, MSISDN, change, SIM change, consumer to Enterprise, Enterprise to consumer, pre2post, post2pre,Validation of pre-rated UDR's processing through rating chain handler's, Validation of rated usage loading into the BSCS, Validation of Billing handler processing, Validation of Billing handler processing, Validation of MRC, OTC and OCC etc..>Bill Presentment: Document type, language validations, format, Bill medium, layout validation etc.

• Provisioning – Daily we have to check failed Cases and provisioning as per the user requirement • Rating process – Daily Monitoring of Rating Batch process(DIH to RLH) for Pan India Online Pre-pricing of all the CDR both regular traffic calls and roaming calls.  Our Mediation Server will generate CDR files for call rating (depends on the size and the time duration). We have connected the Mediation server with the Pricing Node which in return logically pointing to the Billing Server (Production Server) and CDR will get priced and inserted into the Priced table. Reviewing of all rejected calls and pricing the calls and posting in to customer account.

Prepaid Loading: In this project the files for prepaid customers across all circles come from IN (Intelligence Network) via mediation are rated as per rate plan, duration of call, distance etc., which are finally loaded in the BSCS database under three different categories of UDR, OCC & PIH having different credentials such as UDR has call related information, OCC has credit charges for different services like GPRS, VAS activations while PIH has card recharges and E-recharges. This data is used by CRM team for different market reviews, for customer’s feedback & revenue assurance.
