I'm an education and leadership professional with extensive experience in Pakistan's education sector. Currently, I serve as the Head of Placement at Teach For Pakistan, where I oversee the placement of teaching Fellows in FDE schools in Islamabad.My previous role at Teach For Pakistan was as a Coach - Leadership and Training, where I focused on developing the pedagogical, professional, and leadership skills of Fellows through training and coaching.Before that, I held various positions at The Citizens Foundation (TCF), including Principal Specialist, Deputy Manager Training, and Assistant Manager Training. During my time at TCF, I evaluated over 100 principals, designed training programs, and transitioned training models to a more efficient digitized format. I also trained 800 TCF principals and introduced an accelerated remedial program that led to a 70% improvement in literacy and numeracy, addressing educational inequality.My career started as a Teacher/Fellow with Teach For Pakistan, where I initiated community projects, improved infrastructure, designed classroom management systems, and achieved a 50% increase in Science scores within six months, working to bridge education disparities.
