I lead the Group Delivery department, which is the managed services, software development, and implementation arm of all ICT engagements across the Brandix group. In addition to managing an in-house development team, the Group Delivery department was responsible for overlooking the digital transformation journey and governing software projects outsourced to vendors as well.

Innovations Business Unit of Zone24X7 works as the offshore innovations and RnD arm for one of the largest retail chains in USA. The BU is responsible for implementing the POCs from ideation stage, move the POCs to field test and at the end hand it over to customer DevOps teams for production. My key responsibilities include; manage the development teams of field test and POC projects involving software applications, robotics and machine learning for retail sector, hire new talent to the BU to fit the resource needs for coming year, define and implement a project management process that will let the company scale up the number of projects with better efficiencies and track all projects under my purview and escalate any blockers to customer.

Innovating mobile payment products for the Underserved/Underbanked market. MOVO product innovation leverages existing and emerging payment standards and banking infrastructure, resulting in a significant decrease in costs and latency found in traditional solutions, while increasing the consumers’ ability to control, manage and interact with their money in real-time. My focus was to drive the technology strategy and solution so we meet our business objectives effectively and efficiently through our solution.

Worked as a software consultant in a six month assignment. The objectives were gathering project knowledge and building close partnership with Altcom employees as well as Altcom’s customers; to start Mazarin as a partner software consultancy firm in Sri Lanka.While being part of the development team that manage one of Altcom’s in-house built development tools; which allow rapid development of web-based wizards, I was instrumental in re-designing and enhancing the tool by integrating new capabilities and software available in the industry.
