- Involved since bidding stage and finalization of RFQ, Vendor evaluation and technical qualification of suppliers before award. - Finalisation of vendor’s MQAP, FQAP, FAT’s Job Procedure’s etc. as per relevant IS/IEC standards.- Manufacturing clearance to vendors after approval of MQP. - Inspection category approval from client and inspection planning coordination to get MDCC. - Quality Inspection (onshore & offshore) of 400KV & 220KV Switchyard equipment’s (CT, CVT, CB, CT, PT, Isolator, ACSR Conductor, Wave trap, Insulators etc.) Power Transformers , Auxiliary & Service transformer’s, DG set, HT/LT Bus duct, HT/LT-Motors, 220KV EHV & LT/HT Cables, LT/Panels, UPS, Battery charger, etc.- Ensuring compliance with quality and specifications as per contract and relevant IS/IEC standards.- Root cause analysis of all the failure occurred and implementation of recommendation to avoid reoccurrence of the same.- Vendor evolution & TPIA Review.- Verify and control the technical documentation which includes proper approval makes as per vendor list, standards prior to start of manufacturing- Standardisation of quality documents package wise for upcoming projects.- Internal & External auditing member.- Techno commercial interaction with vendors and client, Quality inspection and dispatching the items to site,- Coordinate with various departments for requirements related to Material Inspection.- Support to Common Engineering Services in troubleshooting activities.- Providing Quality requirements for new tenders.- Support to Site team for MRC clearance, SUI related queries - Site Walk down & punch point along with client & other agencies.- Mechanical clearance certificate (MCC) from client after successful completion/installation of equipment.- Quality dossier compilation and submission to client as per contract. - Maintained effective working relationships with field crews, contractors, vendors, outside agencies, the public and city staff members.

Quality Assurance:- Finalisation of MQAP’s, FQAP’s, FAT’s, Job Procedure’s, Vendor Inspection, as per contracts specs & Relevant IS /IEC standards.- Quality inspection of 400 KV switchyard & Plant electrical items - Technical discussions with Designers & Consultants, Project follow up etc.- Periodical material dispatch report on technical aspects of the project in consultation with various parties involved.- Provide technical assistance to project management in developing and coordinating the construction of HV, MV, LV systems and electrical construction.- Verify and control the technical documentation which includes proper approvals, makes as per vendor list, standards prior to start of erection work- Inspection of SAS & SCADA (Alstom Make) for switchyard control building. - Providing Assistance to execution & Project Management team on technical aspects.- Inspection of GT (283 MVA), ST (100 MVA), UT (60 MVA) & UAT (10 MVA) with complete accessories & with fire protection system wherever applicable. - Techno commercial interaction with vendors and client, MDCC Issue etc. - Ensuring Implementation of quality procedure at site by conducting audits as per ISO 9001: 2008.- User Decision in SAP for timely payment to vendors. - Maintained effective working relationships with field crews, contractors, vendors, outside agencies, the public and city staff members.SAP Exposure in QM/MM:- Handling SAP related complete project activities right from the raw material procurement to the dispatch and final clearance for the payment

-Erection, Testing & commissioning of Switchyard equipment’s, Transformers (oil filled & dry Type), HT/LT panels, Motor Cables etc. -Function test for all underground feeders, transformer feeders, Bus couplers & Bus section. Primary injection for CT circuit, CT loops resistance and bus bar, CT circuit, VT circuit, Bus bar contact resistance etc. -Erection, testing & commissioning of HT/ LT bus duct, HT/LT Panels, Cables, Motors and Transformers etc.-Checking & monitoring all the protection and error to transformer (earth fault, symmetrical, REF, differential etc-Monitor the daily progress of work.-Coordinate with various departments for requirements related to electrical construction. -Monitoring delivery of equipment at site on time . -Quality Control of switchgear’s, Transformers & plant electrical works Including Inspection at vendor workshop.-Techno commercial interaction with vendors & Client.-Periodical work progress reports on technical aspects of the project in consultation with various parties involved.-Ensure safe working environment.
