Job Duties:Responsible to produce accurate portfolio valuations, maintain of the underlying accounting records for assigned funds (domestic, international, fund of funds, hedge funds, mutual funds and exchange traded funds), and actively pursue and identify operational efficiency. Monthly, Quarterly & Semi-Annual Distribution and Catch-up (manual) pricing.Review, Comment and Sign off of Rate of Return against the accounting sub ledger reports and the trial before it can be released to the client, to ensure 100% timeliness and accuracy targets are met Ongoing and frequent collaboration with teams such as Performance and Analytics, Unit Registry, and Unlisted Investment Trusts to answer Audit Queries, to develop client specific templates, to prepare month-end & year-end report writing, to manage change, transitions & in-specie transfers.First point of contact for any queries or requests from clients as well as queries from various internal business units. Monitor, Investigate, Resolve & Reconcile risk items on the funds such as failed trades, overdrafts and cash exceptions between custody and accounting.Reconciliation of accruals against any income received/expenses paid and passing of any journals to balance the account. Monitor failing Austraclear trades and working investment managers to ensure that the trades settle before the deadline.Responsible for the end to end creation, dissemination and management of report writing to Investment Managers and the client -such as the report card, IM reconciliation of holdings and net asset value, failed trades, past due income, tax reclaims and FX hedge reports Identifying and reporting key drivers behind equity portfolio performance by using various financial tools and systems to ensure all relevant information are capture during valuations.Timely provision of reports and information requested for internal and external audits.Face to Face/ Conference Call
