Represented M/s Sheladia Associates Inc.–South Sudan, reporting to the Vice President at HQ and independently, managing multiple road and bridges contracts including strategic planning activities, risk assessment, business development, acting as lead negotiator on complex and sensitive issues.Community-Led Development Initiatives, Cooperatives:  Each works contract had a provision for community-led development activities such as supporting markets and cooperative societies, all aimed to reduce potential intervention/conflict with local communities during project implementation. The location of the markets was determined by the community and county administration.  As a result of the Rural Road project, five (05) WAREHOUSES were constructed, and 15 agricultural extension agents were trained along the Magwi-Lobone (89km) road section and total of 39 Agricultural Co-operative Centers were connected to all season roads. It is worthy of noting that the warehouses were handed over to facilitate food security among the farmers’ groups. Institutional Change/StrengtheningCapacity Building of the PIU staff through on-the-job training & other specialized trainings on sustainable project management, procurement, financial management and safeguards. The project has significantly contributed to the institutional strengthening of the transport sector in the Republic of South Sudan.Established and enjoy excellent relationship with the Stakeholders including the Client, the World Bank and Local authorities.
