Prior to joining iGuardSA, I was Group Chief Digital Officer at Life Healthcare Group, where I led the response to a significant cyber-attack, turning adversity into an opportunity to strengthen our digital infrastructure. At ABSA Group Limited, as Group Chief Data Officer, I contributed to transforming our data capabilities by federating the organisation's data management and analytics value.In 2009, I founded Inburru Technologies with a vision to augment the human experience using technology. This initiated a telco startup; a technology consultancy; and a collaboration focused on cybersecurity and data analytics skills across Africa.Beyond my professional roles, I am committed to giving back to the community and advancing the industry. I am regularly engaged to speak on technology topics and currently lecture on cybersecurity at Henley Business School. Additionally, as a founding board member of the Cybersecurity Digital Alliance, I support cybersecurity leaders in policy development, mentorship, education, best practice sharing, and research.Believing in the importance of continuous learning and growth, I strive to foster environments where innovation and excellence can thrive.
