As an Agile Engineering Manager, I set up and currently manage a program consisting of 5 cross functional teams working on various roadmap features for the next generation Middleware product for unconnected or semi-connected STBs. These include a QT/QML based rich EPG, an Open API suite for 3rd party Application Development, a Multi Application Framework for Application Management and a Simulator/Application Development Kit for 3rd party Application development.Prior to that I set up and managed cross functional teams that developed and integrated rich HTML5 based EPG for high end STBs.I am responsible for enabling these teams to perform at their best by resolving their obstacles and dependencies, ensuring the efficiency of the Agile practices, building and updating the teams’ talent, technical coaching etc.

I managed various teams of Engineers working on Embedded Middleware and Application Engines that provided features to resident EPGs and 3rd party Interactive Applications in the STB. These were developed and integrated into products that were delivered to multiple customers and deployed to millions of STBs across the globe.Have lead the teams through various technical and organizational transformations and have always ensured On Time and quality deliverables.Was instrumental in ideating, developing, integrating and delivering several roadmap features and new initiatives in the middleware.Was responsible for the process adherence during the entire development lifecycle.Ensured career progression and skills development for the engineers and groomed them into high performing engineers.
