I, Suresh Kumar, currently I am working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Rajdhani College, University of Delhi, New Delhi, India. I received the Brain Pool plus Fellowship Program for outstanding overseas researchers funded by National Research Foundation of Korea. My expertise in the area of research is computer aided drug design (CADD) using high level of computational methods such as molecular modeling, molecular docking, virtual screening, Quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR), molecular dynamics and ab-initio calculations with density functional theory (DFT). Over the past years, I have successfully completed multiple projects and as an outcome of these projects, we were able to publish our results in high impact factor journals. I worked as SERB-National Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry, IIT Guwahati, Assam, to design suitable materials for the capture and sequestration of harmful gasses and also to develop materials for green energy, based on application of density functional theory and Dr. D. S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Physics, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, in the area of Molecular Modeling respectively. I also worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Chemistry, IIT Guwahati, Assam, in the research area of modelling of anti-tuberculosis compounds using advanced computational techniques, from October, 2016 to January 2017. I received my PhD and M.Sc. Degree in Applied Physics from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, India, in the year of 2012 and 2016 respectively.
