As Lead Engineer, I was leading the application development in the RegTech Team by leveraging the Aladdin platform.• Designed and developed plugin-based reporting frameworks for five core reporting services for data eligibility & aggregation, data transformation, report generation and ack-nack services to process and acknowledge report filing with regulators. • Implemented reporting services for EUMMFR, SFTR, EMIR and MMFR for Central Bank of Ireland using Cloudera based Data Lake and Sparks jobs• Security Data Extraction from Sybase db to RBOR data lake• Rule based QC Server in python – used for validating report data prior to filing• Integrated Anti-Money Laundering (AML), KYC process with 3rd party products Bridger Insight, MINDS, eComm Surveillance products• Information Barrier Group Management System for management of Material Nonpublic information and integration all trading platforms including Blackrock employee’s PTA approval process.Responsibilities in Recon Team:• Reconciliation of Asset (positions, trades, OTC derivatives and Margin) and Cash(Aladdin Ledger and Bank Statement) & publishing daily cash balances. • Developed dashboard and event-based exception management and recon workflow for Cash and Asset Reconciliation• Reduced false breaks to improve operational scale for custody reconciliations by 70% • Built capacity to support onboarding BGI position reconciliations to Aladdin and moving monthly & weekly to daily. Some of key productivity tools developed:• Object Recorder Framework in Java: It is useful to run Java unit testing for methods with external dependencies• Cron Server Tool: For scheduling Tasks / backend jobs from unix command• Diff Tool: For comparing data from files/databases using DSL based business rules implemented using Recursive Decent Parser Grammar. • XML Tool – It provides, comparing XML Files, Converting JSON to XML vice versa, Building sample XML from XSD and validating XML files against XSD Schema
