Demand planning, Procurement/Logistics operations, Sourcing, Materials/Inventory management.Analyze customer demand and plan for materials requirement.Monitor weekly customer shipments and modify plan based on materials availability/production schedules to meet customer demand on time.Anticipate future risks of delivery schedules in Supply Chain & work on Contingency plans.Ensuring parts are ordered on a timely basis depending on the lead time.Receive order acknowledgments,pull in/push out deliveries as per demand fluctuations to maintain desired inventory.Follow-up with freight forwarders on shipment status & CHA for timely clearance.Arrange CT-3 for all local suppliers to get duty exemption as we are an EOU unit.Managing Sub-Contractor for outside processing of materials procured and ensuring timely delivery of processed materials.Co-ordinate with production,quality,Engg and sourcing team to ensure customer demand is met as per quality standards.Resolve supplier invoice issues, dispute shipments, rejections and payment delays / issues.Source new suppliers for different requirements based on their capabilities.Request for proposal, Request for quote, get samples, resolve trial run issues through modifications and finalize product.Analyze price, Negotiate rates, establish contract and fix terms & conditions.Review supplier performance and revise approved vendor list based on rating. Periodic reviews of spend & identify cost saving opportunities.Analyze weekly material demand and plan for weekly material dispatch from all vendors.Maintain stock as per ABC classification and ensure proper inflow/outflow.Maintain Kanban system for all local suppliers & part genealogy for all imports suppliers.Track actual material inflow v/s planned inflow on a weekly basis and take necessary actions to meet requirement and inventory.Ensure timely MRB clearance through on time RMA process and re-export.Work closely to meet the Inventory entitlement on weekly basis.
