Handling Finance Operations (P2P) in Shared Services environment

 Strong acumen for completeness and accuracy of the accounting records generated for the reporting entities through constant monitoring and ensuring the correctness of the monthly financial information reported to the Group entities as per the clearly laid down reporting calendars Leading the month end / yearend Financial Accounting and Reporting activities and ensuring the accounts are closed in line with the Group and Statutory requirements both in terms of completeness and timelines for closure Finalization of statutory accounts and liasioning with the external audit team (E&Y, Deloitte) and with various internal teams to ensure smooth and timely closure of tax and statutory audits, along with the filing of statutory returns Proven ability in improving Financial Control activities, enhancing collaboration with internal stakeholders across the Geographies for Group financial reporting and Consolidations Experienced in conceptualizing and implementing financial procedures and building internal financial controls over financial reporting and monitoring the Risk Assessment and Control Matrix for each of the processes to enhance overall efficiency of the internal financials controls over financial reporting; Maintained the completeness and timely compliance for the India legal entities on STPI, withholding taxes, VAT, Service Tax, PF, PT,ESI and other applicable statutory and regulatory stipulations including periodic returns and filings under these legislations

 Executed all tax plans and ensured timely remittance and filing of indirect tax returns in compliance with Service tax, Central sales tax and Value added Tax Act Managed the remittance of monthly TDS payable to Income tax dept, quarterly filing of e-TDS returns and issue the TDS certificates to vendors/Consultants Prepared the audit schedules and managed the audit queries to auditor satisfaction and contributed to timely completion of Statutory and Tax audits (Delloite).  Liaising with Government Departments and Regulatory Authorities such as Tax Department for obtaining necessary registrations, sanctions and ensuring compliance with various statutory obligations Co-ordinate with tax consultants for attending the hearings with tax departments and provide the necessary information for various audits and other enquires Responsible for obtaining necessary and timely advisory services from our consultants on various indirect tax matters and monitoring the change in law / policy and determining its impact on our business

Ensure completeness and timely compliance of IN entity on withholding taxes, VAT, Service Tax, PF, PT,ESI and other applicable statutory and regulatory stipulations including co ordinate for periodic returns and filings under these legislations
