When I was asked to support an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system at Sequent (now IBM) during 96, little did I know about the enormous difficulty involved in it. However, as my client said in 2000, I was able to leave a "lasting contribution". The team grew from 3 to 250, and annual revenue reached $7M. Great success at Sequent brought many opportunities that included project management assignment at Sony.By then I had sailed through many challenging and highly critical projects involving various Oracle technologies and was ready for more. As a consumer product goods firm, in a highly competitive market, projects at Sony were highly challenging in terms of time pressure, diverse complex technologies, and intricate business processes. With my passion in project management I was able to overcome these challenges and, as my client PM said, I was able to complete projects “on time/budget”. One of the project reduced annual raw material waste by $4-5 M.After many successful years of managing projects I wanted to take my passion in management to the next level and did a master’s program in Global Leadership at the University of San Diego in 2005.While at Fujitsu, I started off with a multi-year ERP implementation project at a distribution firm. This was one of the most challenging projects considering user’s resistance to change, their disagreement on a common process, and difficulty to integrate more than 25 Oracle modules like OTM, Demantra, SIEBEL, eBusiness, EDI, etc. Program resulted in high fill rate bringing in additional $1-2 M revenue per month. My quest for deeper understanding of business and desire to take my career to global level inspired me to undertake a global executive MBA.After leaving Fujitsu in 2015 I took my passion to execute projects to IBM, NuVasive and Microsoft.Published an article in Project Management Institute's magazine - "Three Things I learned from Executive MBA" -->http://www.pmnetwork-digital.com/pmnetwork/july_2015#pg28
