WAI is known to continuously win the most coveted best financial advisor award for south India from CNBC TV 18. WAI was acquired by IIFL wealth. I was fortunate enough to get a role to build, execute and head a business unit. This was "The Aha Moment" I needed to nurture my startup/entrepreneur fire within me. I modeled & designed a fee-based wealth management vertical for HNI customers with a net relationship value of above 50 lacs with financial planning & centralized advisory as its core.

As the Area head of the PowerVantage Wealth segment was instrumental in leading a team of 12 Senior Relationship Managers from the front on goal-based financial planning. A short stint with focus on embedding advisory sales systems in place.

As a Citigold wealth manager, I had advised, planned & executed tailored investment strategies for Citi private clients with Mutual Funds, Structured Products, PMS, Debentures, offshore investments, Life & General Insurance for risk coverage and more. Have successfully managed clients with assets under advisory of more than INR 50 million plus.

With a sales team of 40 sales representatives & 4 team leaders was instrumental in building the best performing acquisition team. Moved the branch customer acquisition from 300 customers per month to 3000 customers per month in 4 months. I also got an opportunity to be a part of the initial Private banking team of ICICI Bank. Must say it was an awesome experience which defined my career forward.
