Suresh Lulla, a Distinguished Alumnus of IIT Bombay, has made a mark through his work in the fields of Quality Management and Organizational Excellence.Mr Lulla was mentored by Dr J M Juran, ‘the Father of Quality’, who, along with Mahatma Gandhi and Shri Ramkrishna Bajaj form the trinity of Mr Lulla’s role models — he jokes that one thing he has in common with his role models is a bald head!In 1987, Mr Lulla established India’s first dedicated Quality Management consulting firm, Qimpro Consultants. Since inception, Qimpro’s clients have collectively saved over INR 50,000 crores by strategically addressing their individual Cost Of Poor Quality (COPQ).In 1996, Mr Lulla established the IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award for Organizational Excellence. In the same year, he facilitated the establishment of the IMC Juran Quality Medal for Individual Excellence.In 2000, Mr Lulla founded Qimpro Foundation to recognize Statesmen (Qimpro Platinum Standard) and Leaders (Qimpro Gold Standard) for Individual Excellence in Business, Education, and Healthcare.He is a veteran professional with over 50 years of experience as a Consultant, Trainer, Speaker, Author, and Storyteller.
