Multi-cultural environments in Global diversified companies gave opportunities to experiment HR wisdom in managing the complex talent management, employee engagement, establish people centric policies & procedures, employee relations, stakeholder management etc. They gave me the opportunities to lead HR to business partnering & pioneering roles - by collaboration, good work practices, stakeholder management - to establish mutual trust & long term good relations.Started with MNC startup - to establish GMP(GSK); dealing with the M&A related cultural changes, GFMP, diagnostic surveys to enhance employee engagement & morale (HUL); build good work culture through continuous improvement measures, Japanese best practices, consistent Policies & Procedures, communication platforms, promoting mutual trust & establish long term good Employee Relations(DENSO); establish management structure by organisation restructuring, new Job grades, C&B revision, new PMS, HR automation(Page Industries); communication system, PMS, SLAs, regular review of G&O, HR automation(Shahi Exports), set management priorities, (Chinmaya Health Care) - part of my journey.Improve the productivity, team building, fair & firm approach to Grievances, discipline & ER issues, productivity linked wage settlements/Union, stakeholder management, deal with POSH issues, validate data for HR improvement etc were also crucial.Tested shallow waters, bottle necks & odds, gained success with effective stakeholder management to enter the broader realm of people management. Journey was stimulating, enriching to deal with complex HR & people management domain to get Employee buy-in & establish people & process oriented work culture.
