30+ years of experience in designing cyber security, data management solutions, server and storage systems, operating systems and file systems as well as defining system interconnect specifications. Developed LOCUS distributed operating system and its file system replication techniques in early 1990's for large-scale server, mainframe and super computer systems from IBM, Tandem, Pyramid Technology and Intel. Contributed to the System Boot and Configuration portions of the Intelligent I/O (I2O) 1.0 Specification. Developed a RTOS based proof of concept to demonstrate industry’s first native I2O server platform. Architected portions of the InfiniBand Architecture Specification. Designed solutions for InfiniBand subnet, baseboard and device management frameworks as well as authored InfiniBand I/O Configuration Manager Specification. Contributed to the PCI Express Base Specification. Co-founded StorageNode Technologies in 2001, a startup focused on offering InfiniBand natively attached scale-out storage arrays. Drove corporate virtualization strategy, lead development of host storage management, RAID and data-at-rest security technologies across multiple lines of business at Dell. Defined management architecture and drove long term strategy at EMC's Unified Storage Division as well as next generation storage solutions and services at Huawei Storage BU. Currently leading AI/ML application, cyber resiliency and manageability/supportability across Veritas product portfolio.
