• To engage in Product development activities for Concept, Verification and Production phases• Build a DVA model using RD&T Software as per the Assembly Flow Diagram for BIW• Perform Stability analysis studies for all the parts during Concept phase and recommend locators (as per 3-2-1 principle) in such a way it will be less sensitive to variation• Carry out initial Gap/Flush Tolerance calculations and analyze meeting of the demands and Generate interface system documents for ensuring the fitment of the part with the surrounding parts.• Release Parts/Sub-Assemblies Pre-Tolerance drawing with Datum Target System information and GD&T requirements. Organize Geometrical Convergence meetings with suppliers to check the feasibility of all the defined tolerances• Work on Assembly Requirement Drawings (ARD) for BIW complete and release it to the respective stakeholders and ensure all the Target Tolerances are met• Release Measurement Point Documents to the Suppliers/Volvo Production plants for all the Parts/Sub-Assemblies/Assemblies to ensure the Dimensional requirements are met• Define Measurement strategy for the BIW Complete and Sub-Assemblies to ensure all the Interface datums and attachment fixations are within the defined tolerance limit• Participate in Build activities and Support all the Dimensional issues• Review PIST (Percentage of Inspection Points Satisfying Tolerance) report for all the Supplier Delivery units and ensure all the targets are met as per the agreed Dimensional Control Plan• Use Piweb (Quality data management system tool) to track the complete build data of all the Supplier Measured Parts and Production Plant measured Sub-Assemblies/Assemblies and check the trend chart of all the measured features• Use build data to find out the Root cause for all the dimensional issues and implement Intermittent and permanent corrective actions

• To develop a Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVA) model using VisVSA /3DCS software by incorporating all the real time processes and Part Tolerances and analyze the DVA results.• Provide GD&T recommendation as per the ASME Y14.5 Standards for out of specification interfaces• Successfully completed Stability analysis Studies/Tolerance Stack up studies/GD&T recommendations/Drawing checks for TATA SIGNA, PRIMA and WINGER vehicles• Periodic visit to the vehicle production plants to understand the customer requirements
