At this stage in my career I had gained the confidence and experience to move into a new business area - manufacturing UPVC systems including windows, doors and conservatories.In this business as well as taking responsibility for sales, I managed operational aspects such as design and fitting.Launching and running this business gave me invaluable experience in the sector, which has contributed to the success of my current UPVC business, Prime Windows and Doors.

I launched a number of hot food businesses on premises in Daventry, Burton on Trent and Gamston in Nottingham.I managed day-to-day operations and took responsibility for all staff, food business plan, P&L, forecasting, and market analysis.

I spent four years opening, running and developing a number of successful convenience stores in the King's Heath and Duston areas of Northampton.This included developing close working relationships with other store chains Misselbrook & Weston Ltd., and Beta Stores.

I started my first business in 1987, selling womens' footwear on market stalls throughout Devon and Cornwall.Running this successful business at a young age developed my commercial awareness, equipped me with strong negotiation skills, and gave me vital insight into how achieve customer satisfaction.
