Indetechs Software Limited is the local partner of the UK-based organisation Technovative Solutions Limited (TVS)- an innovation-led company, working on disruptive technologies. I'm responsible for the following D&C tasks for several EU-funded TVS projects. • Blog, press release, and feature articles writing for website and social media platforms• Website management• Managing social media profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube) of three individual projects • Quarterly reports writing• Newsletter content management • Multimedia production coordination and supervision

I am working with the Audio Visual department at Drik, and assisting the team on the pre and post-production of visual productions on project basis. My job role includes, writing, communication, interviewing, storytelling, shooting coordination and ensuring the final production. The job role gives me opportunity to work with organizations and individuals from all sectors, both government and non-government.

The majority world has traditionally been represented by white, middle class, western photographers. While editorial control remains in the North, stories will continue to have a northern slant, and the only way in which this can be challenged is through alternative sources being formed that are independent of western and corporate media. DrikNEWS is designed to fill this void. This agency, an independent body of Drik Picture Library, aims to cover news photography and investigative reporting by disseminating both locally and internationally through the web. RVJN: The Rural Visual Journalism Network (RVJN) is an innovative initiative where rural correspondents use the latest smart phone technology to produce multimedia stories from all districts of Bangladesh. Trained by Drik, the correspondents’ multimedia stories focus on addressing specific issues faced by the media and rural citizens of Bangladesh.Duties/Responsibilities: Editing photographs and multimedia stories for DrikNEWS.com and RVJN. Writing reports for the photo stories and multimedia stories accordingly and upload those to DrikNEWS.com- the news agency operated by Drik.Working with other departments (Marketing, Publication, Photography, Drik Images etc.) of Drik as well, when necessary.Communicating with district correspondents.Managing the social media of Drik (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube, Instagram, Flickr).
