Born and raised in Ahmedabad, my journey began with a foundation in Commerce, earning a B.Com degree. However, my creative instincts led me beyond traditional business paths. In 2013, I entered the design world by pursuing a Master's in Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Mumbai. This experience opened the door to my passion for blending handicrafts with spatial design, revealing the rich synergy between art and space.My first role as a Space Designer at CraftCanvas, Ahmedabad, allowed me to immerse myself in the craft sector, working closely with artists, craftsmen, and designers. For two and a half years, I conceptualized and executed craft-based installations, murals, artworks, and prints, translating traditional artistry into contemporary spaces.Seeking new challenges, I joined 91springboard, working first in Delhi and later in Goa. Here, I expanded my expertise by incorporating branded art and environmental graphics into corporate spaces, exploring how visual identity can transform physical environments. Moving from a small design studio to a large corporate setting was a transformative experience that sharpened my management, adaptability, and negotiation skills. During this time, I developed a deeper understanding of team dynamics and effective communication, enabling me to coordinate complex projects under demanding deadlines.In 2021, I joined Pristine Paige Weddings and Events LLP, Ahmedabad as an Event Designer, where I applied my extensive knowledge of art and space to craft temporary, yet impactful, environments for events. As I transitioned into the role of Head of Design, I led teams to create immersive experiences that blended aesthetics, function, and emotion, furthering my journey of infusing art into spaces.In 2024, driven by my desire to push the boundaries of design, I founded CraftConfluence, a studio dedicated to merging tradition with innovation. My work continues to focus on the intersection of art and space, creating customized art installations and spaces that resonate with cultural depth and modern design principles. Over the past decade, I have collaborated with artisans from 15 craft clusters across India, applying my knowledge of craft into interior and temporary spaces alike. From permanent installations in offices to ephemeral event designs, my journey has been about exploring how art can transform, elevate, and define the spaces we inhabit. An ambivert at heart, I thrive on travel and seek out experiences that continue to fuel my creative vision.
