Senior Human Factors Specialist
Current- Lead teams of usability engineers to conduct hundreds of test sessions in diverse environments while becoming experts with products under evaluation in a fast-paced environment.- Conduct remote and in-person user research, formative usability studies, and HF validation (summative) tests involving medical devices and combination products (e.g., surgical robotic systems, wrist-worn devices, women's health products, injection devices.- Develop and refine HF documentation, including risk analyses (URRA, uFMEA), known problems analyses, testing protocols, and HFE / UE reports.- Report on critical findings observed during usability studies, including conducting extensive root cause analysis, distilling subjective participant feedback, and performing subsequent residual risk analysis.-Manage nationwide participant recruitment efforts involving high rare patient population volumes.-Fulfill Requests for Proposals spanning expert reviews, documentation (e.g., risk analysis) development, formative and validation usability tests, and HFE report support.- Facilitate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) advisory group seeking to develop and implement DE&I-focused initiatives both internally (i.e., amongst our team) and externally (i.e., amongst clients and participants).
