The Samiti for Education, Environment, Social and Health Action (SEESHA) is a non-profit organization that works towards empowering underprivileged communities across several States in India. I completed a work experience program for two weeks during the summer of 2016 in India. Program activities included:– Shadowing the pharmacist to understand the protocol and procedures of dispensing medicine– Analysis of urine and stool samples alongside the Lab Assistant– Working as part a of the team with the community development representative to deliver educationalmaterial to underprivileged children– Organizing the distribution of school supplies and meals to a large auditorium of children– Taking part in activities and engaged in artwork with differently-abled children
