I'm a Bachelor of Engineering graduate in Mechanical and Manufacturing from Chisholm Institute of TAFE, Melbourne. I have always been interested in the working of machines which is why I chose to pursue this course. While studying at Chisholm, I have developed a number of practical skills including the operation of lathe and milling machines. I have also developed valuable skills in welding and 3D printing. Working on projects in a team, financial project management and stronger communication skills have been developed as part of my studies.I am employed as a Machine Operator at Mocopan Coffee for two years now. I am required to operate the packing machine and repair it from time to time. As a machine operator, I have developed a number of valuable skills which include problem-solving, team work, ability to monitor and assess performance of machinery and make needed adjustments.I have tried to be efficient at both my studies as well as in the workplace without compromising on either one of them. In the process, I have learnt to work hard, take responsibility and succeed at giving my best to all that I do.I plan to work in the Mechanical Industry once I complete my studies. I believe I have the right set of skills and qualifications that can help me make my mark in the industry.
