In a technical role, rebuilt a fragmented set of projects and processes. Provided structure and documentation for the SMB Marketing program, including the specific business rules now used by the program for Customer List pulls and Lead Uploads.• Working with the SMSC (India), and Data Stewards, identified data quality issues between key Marketing databases. Assisted in the problem definition and desired outcome• Performed data quality analysis to complete and close two pre-existing projects that were poorly documented. Engaged in three smooth-running projects with clear objectives, timelines and deliverables.

Assessed Kaiser Permanente's existing PPM toolset and overall maturity for Project Management, Portfolio Management, Resource Management, Document Management and Team Collaboration. Recommended specific technology and organizational changes to enable KP to climb the PPM Maturity Model. • Conducted 16 stakeholder interviews to determine requirements. Documented features of 19 existing in-house project management tools. Deliverable was a Business Requirements Document for a SaaS Project Portfolio Management Tool.• Compared existing tool features to ideal features based on PPM industry standards. Deliverable was a Tools Gap Assessment and a Summary Findings deck

Transformed the customer support business by creating a rules-based, systematic way to evaluate new business cases. Previously, all business cases were entered into the pipeline. • Developed a new methodology and process to prioritize Global Customer Support projects for maximum business impact, while aligning with the DES organization.• Evangelized the new prioritization and portfolio management (PPM) process with release management, IT development and supporting business teams.• Participated in the design of a new UI process via Project Server/SharePoint to capture the new fields and workflows necessary to support.

The project goal was to create a new method to provide all-up and drill-down views of IT costs for Microsoft IT. New data sources and tools were evaluated along with new business rules and calculations. • Created and documented the process to pull source data systematically, clean, and transform it. (ETL)• Evaluated technical solutions from (Zap, Apptio and Microsoft) in terms of cost, benefit and time frames. • Wrote the SQL queries to source pivot tables, vlookups and PowerView to deeply understand data relationships and data quality.• Created UI report mock-ups in Visio, presented them to the stakeholders, lead discussions and modify mock-ups accordingly.

Provided IT Project Management, Requirements Gathering, Requirements Documentation (BRD), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Impact Analysis services for the projects in the BI for IT program. • Created deliverables (Communications, Project Kickoff deck, Pre-Baseline deck, Business Requirements Document, UAT plan, UAT scripts, UAT results, and Project Release announcement) for 2 EDW Scorecard releases and 2 IT Decision Center releases.• Successfully ran User Acceptance Testing for all releases.• Wrote a simple, easy-to-read document to describe a complex technical scorecard metric automation process for use by the IT community.• Analyzed the opportunity/cost of increasing SQL Server refresh frequency for IT Decision Center. Created and managed cross-functional teams to support sales channel reporting and employee commissions.
