I started this Linkedin page a little late in my career, close to my semi-retirement. While I have worked on many very interesting and unique projects and made many lasting and rewarding friendships, I never asked anyone to support this page! Consequently, there are no comments.I was a social worker out of university and had a great deal of court experience over the following 15 years, I also taught Child Development at the college level part-time for several years. I have been in the decorating business for over 30 years and have won 3 international decorating awards, one in Atlanta 2009 and two in Las Vegas 2011. I am a member of the international Color Marketing Group which is an exciting organization of colour professionals who predict the colour direction for most products for the coming 5 years. I have presented at conferences in Seattle, Macau China and NYC. I love to travel. In the seventies, I crossed Africa overland twice; north from Morocco, across the Sahara, through the Congo south to South Africa. The following year, I hitch-hiked with my soon to be husband from CapeTown north to Cairo, over to Greece and across the Middle East to Kathmandu. I have visited over 50 countries, many twice or more. I love sailing and lived aboard our 30 ft boat for 3 years. We have sailed in the Bahamas, BVI, Br. West Indies, NZ, Canada and the Seychelles. We have raised 2 sons. I love American football, go Tom!I have a motorcycle license and my pilots license. I love to read and in my semi retirement, I am taking up bridge again
