As a Project Manager, I am responsible for overseeing the implementation of new and existing business for large enterprise customers’ networks and supply chains. I manage project life cycles and am responsible for developing project cost plans, scope management, risk identification, resource allocation and timelines associated with implementing complex solutions for our customers.

As a Solutions Design and Implementation Supervisor, I am responsible for executing engineering projects that provide solutions to improve efficiency and integrate technology for our customers. I manage project life cycles and conduct Business Process Redesign, work measurement and metrics, process mapping, and warehouse layout and design.

Currently, I support our middle market accounts in developing strategies to leverage technology, engineering and sustainability solutions that align with customers’ objectives. These solutions are designed to gain, retain, and grow UPS’s business across multiple functions and provide our customers with sustainable competitive advantages and improving their bottom line.Supply chain design, engineering solutions and analysis • Work with customers to uncover long-term strategies and provide value-added solutions, ensuring retention and strengthening relationships. • Work with key stakeholders to determine goals, evaluate needs and objectives, and identify business challenges to ensure accurate capture of key issues, and to formulate solutions to leverage opportunities. The Marketing and Sales Industrial Engineering Supervisor is responsible for providing engineering support to the Region/District Marketing and/or Sales teams, Staff, and Operations. Susan supported the design, implementation and execution of marketing and/or sales processes for the districts.

The Operations Excellence Supervisor supports the domestic Small Package and Hub functions to ensure it meets and exceeds customer service and quality objectives. Susan assisted with the development, assessment, and alignment of service goals with company objectives. While in this position, Susan also supported the implementation of training activities and provided operational support.

Susan was responsible for developing work measurement for use in improving feeder job set-ups and operational conditions that reduce cost and meet service commitments. The Feeder IE Supervisor provides tools, training, methods certification, and assistance as needed to support the achievement of the business plan.

As a Hub IE Supervisor, Susan was responsible for developing work measurement for use in improving hub job set-ups and operational conditions that reduce cost and meet service commitments. She audited operating plans and procedure compliance, developed, implemented, and assessed hub operations’ long and short range operating plans based upon work measurement, and assists operators with implementations of improved operating plans, new services, improved procedures, and new technology. She worked with Division and Hub and Feeder Managers to identify and prioritize opportunities for operations and process improvements.

As an Industrial Engineering Package Supervisor, Susan was responsible for developing work measurement for use in improving package job set-ups and operational conditions that reduce cost and meet service commitments. She audited operating plans and procedure compliance; developed, implemented, and assessed package operations’ long and short range operating plans based upon work measurement, and assisted operators with implementations of improved operating plans, new services, improved procedures, and new technology. Susan worked with Division and Business Managers to identify and prioritize opportunities for operations and process improvements where key business plan objectives are not being met.
