The Center for Peace through Culture (CPC) provided experiential learning opportunities through 3 programs. LifeSchool presented a comprehensive wellness program to K-12 teachers in healthy living, emphasizing ways to minimize stress and enhance nurturing behaviors to optimize performance and create a meaningful work experience. This mindset and associated skills translated into nurturing classrooms where social-emotional learning was modeled and taught and children could thrive. The second program, Arts 4 Us, trained "Ambassadors" from the Latinx and Black communities to host families from underserved populations at five area arts venues. The third program was Coaching for Educators, offering fully subsidized, individual coaching to K-12 teachers to work toward their personal and professional goals.
