About Susan Barker

My day to day work involves advising my clients on a range of employment law and HR matters including, for example, disciplinary, grievances, redundancies and TUPE. As well providing advice, I meet with clients to discuss and then draft employee handbooks and contract statements. Where they already have such documentation in place, I will review their existing material and update as appropriate. I also devise and deliver HR training to my clients on areas such as, for example, conflict management, absence management and handling disciplinary and grievance situations.Alcumus clients are predominately from the SME market and from a variety of Sectors allowing my knowledge and expertise to be very broad.
