I have been working within Human Resources for 25 years in a variety of roles which have been both Operational and Strategic. The areas of HR have included Generalist, Human Resource Management, Graduate Recruitment and Training and Development.I joined Roehampton Club as Human Resources Manager in January 2010 in a stand-alone role which sits on the Senior Management Team, reporting into the Chief Executive. The role involves providing people management strategy to support the organisations strategic aims and business objectives. I have responsibility for the full HR function and the support for 150 staff. I remain very operational and hands on in all aspects of my role.During my time at Roehampton Club I have driven the implementation and living of our Values which are an integral part of the Club and led the Club to achieving Bronze in 2012, Silver in 2015 and Gold Investors in People accreditation in 2017.From 2002 to 2009 I worked for the National Archives in Kew latterly, as a business partner and prior to that as a Generalist, with particular interest in staff development and consistency checking. When I joined initially I worked in Training and Development, delivering training and led the implementation of a new competency framework.Between 1989 and 2001 I worked for Morgan Stanley UK Group as Manager – Business Knowledge Development, Finance, Administration and Operations Division. My role here included running the Graduate and Intern Programmes, Performance Management of 600 Staff and introducing and running the in-house CIMA programme for finance graduates.
