I write science fiction under the pen name of K. T. Hunter. My first series is "The Nemo Paradox" and includes the titles "20 Million Leagues Over the Sea" and "The Mysterious Planet of Captain Moreau". The third book, "The Invisible Woman", is a work in progress.

I was the SME for the a client/server-based sales tracking system for several years. The system used a SQL Server data store and a Microsoft .NET front end. I supported users in their daily use of the system. I also added new insurance products and other features as needed, from analysis & design through coding through testing and release implementation. I documented the changes and trained other developers on the care and maintenance of the system. I worked with Business Analysts to develop specifications and test plans. I cooperated with developers of downstream systems to ensure our systems shared data properly. I provided training on the system to other employees in a variety of roles as needed.

Trained customers in various software packages, including Microsoft Word and Excel, email, etc. Most classes were one or two days in length, and they were available in entry-level through advanced levels. I also participated in the company's Train the Trainer program, in which I trained new instructors in the New Horizons classroom methods. This role gave me the opportunity to coach and mentor new instructors.

Ran the CSTCC Adaptive Computer Lab. Trained students on adaptive technology and made it available to students to use for their classes. Demonstrated adaptive technology to clients at other centers in the Chattanooga area. Created curricula for classes if it did not already exist.
