I am an attorney for the Products Pipeline Business Unit (supporting multiple FERC and TRRC regulated pipelines and non-regulated terminal assets). I am involved in key decisions and strategy for the business unit for both regulatory and commercial matters. I draft, review, negotiate, and advise on various commercial agreements with key customers, including transportation services agreement and terminal agreements. I also provide commercial support related to projects development of transitional energy, such as Renewable Diesel projects in California. In addition, I provide strategic and commercial support for Joint Ventures.

My principal area of practice is the regulation of natural gas, power, and liquid hydrocarbons, with a focus on energy markets and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) enforcement matters. I provide regulatory guidance for FERC enforcement matters including FERC Audits and Self-Reports. I also advise clients on strategic and regulatory compliance matters, including those related to greenfield and brownfield liquids pipelines, working on numerous projects for the transportation of liquids from diverse supply areas. I represent clients on a variety of regulatory matters associated with the transportation of natural gas by pipeline, including the abandonment of offshore facilities in a FERC proceeding.

I was hired at FERC through the Presidential Management Fellowship (PMF program). During my two-year fellowship, I divided my time between the Office of Energy Market Regulation-West (OEMR-West) and the Office of Enforcement Division of Investigations (DOI). Following the completion of my fellowship, I worked in DOI where I investigated possible violations of FERC statutes, rules, orders, and regulations by conducting depositions, interviews and reviewing documents. I was a member of the Commission's trial team in the District Court of Massachusetts where we sought the Court to affirm FERC's Order Assessing Civil Penalty against Lincoln Paper, Competitive Energy Services, and Richard Silkman. I was a liaison with one of the ISO/RTOs and assisted DOI with FOIA requests. Previously in OEMR-West, I reviewed and evaluated electric rate applications involving transmission of electric energy, waiver requests, compliance filings, and declaratory orders. I also worked on the implementation of Order No. 1000 (Transmission Planning and Cost Allocation).
