I believe that data is beautiful. It serves as a blank canvas, allowing skilled analysts to craft unique, impactful stories that drive actionable strategies. This belief first began taking shape while I was earning my degree in statistics and analytics at UNC Chapel Hill. During this time, I had the opportunity to be a teach assistant for a data literacy class, where I taught students how to make complex data sets digestible through tools like Excel, Tableau, and R. I also interned at the Southeast Regional Climate Center, where I utilized PHP to write scripts that helped maintain database integrity. These experiences emphasized to me that while data is not always clean, the right tools can transform it into valuable insights. I am now continuing to expand my data toolbox by pursuing a master's degree in analytics. This experience is not only sharpening my technical skills but also refining my personal skills through group practicum work with real-world data. Ultimately, I am passionate about uncovering the beauty in data and am open to any opportunity that allows me to explore and utilize data in meaningful ways.
