For over 25 years, Sue’s career in the administrative field has included companies such as Bechtel, Goodwill Industries of Monocacy Valley, Hood College, the law firm of Miles & Stockbridge, and Hays Baking Company. Since 2015, she has worked at Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc., contractor for Frederick National Laboratory.Sue has been on the advisory board to the Woman to Woman Mentoring Program of Frederick County, a program who assists women ages 18-35 with career and personal guidance to help transform their lives, since January 2010 and involved with the program since July 2009 in fundraising. Currently, Sue is on the governance committee and a past board chair.Since 1989, Sue has been an active member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) and was certified with the Certified Professional Secretary® (CPS) and Certified Administrative Professional® (CAP) rating in 2001 (now designated as CAP-OM). Her leadership know-how has been obtained as a past Delaware-Maryland-District of Columbia Division President (1999-2001), where she received recognition as being a Distinguished Division President at the 2001 International Convention, a past Hager Chapter President and a past Frederick Chapter President, in addition to many other chairmanships.
