Gathered and documented requirements for a new HUD-1 form review system and ancillary closing services. Produced appropriate supporting documentation. Also gathered and documented requirements, and managed the efforts for many enhancement projects for enhancements to the existing loan origination systems and HUD-1 review system. Susan was a Senior Business Analyst responsible for defining and documenting the system development, quality assurance and application engineering processes and templates for the IT Development Center of Excellence. She collaborated with Senior Management and development personnel. Susan developed the metrics to measure the success of the processes, a central repository for storing process artifacts and deliverables, and methods for governance and continuous improvement. She also developed and delivered process training to over 300 development personnel. As a result of these processes, the client will be able to design applications and develop/test quality code using consistent methods.

Senior Business Analyst on Enterprise Learning System, an enterprise level and one of the largest strategic initiatives in the client’s history. Led a team of 10 resources across the program by developing and delivering training, mentoring, and establishing formalized processes that can be applied on future projects. For three complex projects within the program, saw the vendor selection process through to implementation, including vendor evaluation and selection. As a result, the client will be positioned to leverage the knowledge of its 30,000 care professionals and greatly improve the quality of care. •Coordinated and facilitated requirements gathering sessions with physicians at medical facilities across the U.S. with extremely limited availability•Defined workflows and storage requirements for the content being created across the program on the Universal Content Management project•Defined business requirements for an incentive program that will award physicians maintenance certification points for ongoing learning•Created RFP and scorecard as part of the vendor selection process•Configured Requisite Pro for the Enterprise Learning System for management of requirements across all initiatives in the program. The client’s Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology needed to refine BA processes as a foundation for its BA Center of Practice to improve the quality of project requirements and ensure better project outcomes. Facilitated sessions with representatives across the PMO, BA and QA teams to determine the to-be state of processes. She developed training materials and rolled them out to more than 30 business analysts, while also acting as a mentor to the team. The client gained consistent BA processes and tools that can be leveraged across the organization.

Computer Aid was awarded the bid.Assisted Medtronic Corporation in the definition and implementation of an off-shore outsourcing engagement for the support, enhancement and projects for a portfolio of existing applications.Conducted outsourcing engagement assessments and made recommendations on overall organization, workflow and service level agreements. Utilized the (SEI) (CMM) as the baseline for suggestions. Companies included 3M and Target Corporation.
