My personal mission is to provide access to an excellent and affordable education, including persistence to graduation, for as many students as possible. My motto is "Diversity, Transparency, and Joy." Diversity because only through inclusivity and safety can we build the best possible educational environments for students, faculty, staff, and community. Transparency because only through clarity and communication can we build trust and knowledge. Joy because the point of education is the pleasure of the collaborative work place, the goals worked toward and accomplished, of doors opened and lives lived at their fullest.
