GAT’s remit was to help unlock land to facilitate housing and well-planned community outcomes. I established the $50 million Growth Acceleration Fund to support the delivery of essential infrastructure in South East Queensland growth fronts. I am also led a team to develop the Redland Housing Strategy.
I led a team to negotiate and mobilise the SEQ City Deal, a $1.8 billion tri-partite agreement which will deliver a better connected region through key transport projects, creation of more jobs and protecting the region's liveability. The role required engagement across three levels of government, the private sector and the community regarding a varied.
