GAT’s remit was to help unlock land to facilitate housing and well-planned community outcomes. I established the $50 million Growth Acceleration Fund to support the delivery of essential infrastructure in South East Queensland growth fronts. I am also led a team to develop the Redland Housing Strategy.
I led a team to negotiate and mobilise the SEQ City Deal, a $1.8 billion tri-partite agreement which will deliver a better connected region through key transport projects, creation of more jobs and protecting the region's liveability. The role required engagement across three levels of government, the private sector and the community regarding a varied range of cities matters involving innovation and digital opportunities, governance, city planning and reform, infrastructure investment, jobs and skills, housing, liveability and sustainability.

• Implement strategies, policies, frameworks and processes related to infrastructure planning in Priority Development Areas (PDAs).• Deliver charging documentation for all aspects of trunk infrastructure including water, sewer, stormwater, roads and parks for PDAs.• Develop financial modelling and analysis required to support future infrastructure delivery. • Liase with Councils, Utility Providers and Developers to ensure superior outcomes are delivered for future infrastructure within PDAs. • Review and provide recommendations on historical infrastructure implementation matters.• Research developments in innovative supply of trunk infrastructure.• Promote a customer and performance-oriented focus on infrastructure delivery.
