Interfaced with all levels inter-departmentally, vendors, and internal Ford customers on all aspects of planning, scheduling, purchasing, organizing, directing and controlling the procurement needed components, to achieve delivery of pre-production seating and restraint modules. Responsibilities included development of build schedules and budgets, as well as sourcing prototype tooling vendors and prototype build sources. Tasks included identifying individual build requirements, timing plans for builds, needed staffing and parts, resultant budget, forecasting personnel requirements, as well as managing and resolving all issues that developed that may threaten delivery of on-time modules for use in engineering or system testing requirements, or program build deliverables.
