About Susan Eldridge

I’m doing everything within my control to make the ecosystem of classical music safer and more sustainable for everyone. By moving the levers from prospective student through to industry, we can make systemic change upstream and downstream. Here’s my cunning strategy …① Get 'em early. I’m working to tell a pragmatic and optimistic story to prospective musicians about a life with music. ② Fix the messy middle. I’m working with higher education and early career programs to shift the culture, the experience and the content to look ahead. We don’t need to burn down the curriculum to make incredible change and drive business outcomes. This right here is the SWEET SPOT because we have our future players, creators, leaders, educators and therapists together in the room. ③ Ditch the broken models. I’m working alongside industry to ensure processes and practices do not cause further harm or trauma to their people. And here’s a potted history on how I got here …You might not think that tech consultancy, higher education and classical music are obvious bedfellows. But my careers in these industries are intertwined and interconnected. My success as founder of a $10M tech consultancy in Europe used all my classical music training. My success as a disrupter in education models for musicians uses all my business nous. Now, I help individuals and organisations to articulate complex problems and distill them down to something they can grapple with. Who’s it for? What’s it for? What does success look like? Not sure how we would work together? It starts with a conversation. Let’s talk.

Listed skills include Arts Administration, Music, Entrepreneurship, Public Relations, and 6 others.
